Rogers Communications will be creating 350 local jobs next summer when it opens a B.C. customer service centre in Kelowna.

The number of positions is expected to reach 500 over time at the centre, which will be located in the Landmark District.

“Our centres play a vital role in our customers’ experience, and we’re pleased to add 350 new team members to serve our customers across Canada,” Rogers customer care senior vice-president Eric Agius said in a press release. “We’re proud to grow our presence in the province and tap into the incredible Okanagan workforce.”
