Luxury Eyewear Brand, Linda Farrow Partners With Meghan Markle Backed Charity, Smart Works
The London-based charity, Smart Works was established in 2013 and it exists to help unemployed women regain the confidence they need to succeed at job interviews, return to employment and ultimately, transform their lives for the better.
As well as providing top-to-toe outfits for job interviews, beneficiaries also have access to one-to-one interview training and the opportunity to join Smart Works Network for personal development.
A hugely important charity, it is one that is backed by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex who has recently shone a light on them and the work they do when she became a Patron last year.
“The reason I was drawn to Smart Works is that it reframes the idea of charity as community. It’s a network of women supporting and empowering other women in their professional pursuits.”
And now, they've teamed up with luxury eyewear brand Linda Farrow, together launching a capsule collection this month, ‘Women Inspiring Women’. Expect 30 of the most loved Linda Farrow styles, from ‘50s cat eye to rectangular (as modelled by Rina Lipa) and classic aviators to name a few.
As well as donating over 200 pairs of Linda Farrow optical frames to Smart Works, the collection will raise funds for the charity with 50% of the RRP from the Linda Farrow x Smart Works being donated to the organization.

There's no better match then it would seem as, after all, Linda Farrow herself was recognized as a pioneer in the eyewear field when she first started her company in the 1970s. It was a male-dominated industry but Farrow smashed the rules and built a long lasting brand.
So long lasting in fact that they're reaching their 50-year milestone. To mark their anniversary, they have shifted the focus on the cool female Londoners that continue to inspire and they're women in all industries from business, fashion, film, music, and the arts to model the Smart Works collection.
This campaign features 50 portraits of these inspiring women, who encapsulate the same energy and passion that originally drove Linda Farrow to bring about her brand from Amelia Windsor (ambassador of nomoreplasticco), Gizzi Erskine (chef), Susie Lau (the original blogger), to Nana Sarian (lawyer), Tracy Sedino (art director at LF) , Mawi Keivom (jewelry designer) and Cozette Mccreery (DJ).
